I. Product Introduction:
Epoxy anti-rust and anti-corrosion paint is a special paint with excellent physical properties, such as good water resistance, acid and alkali resistance, tough paint film, strong adhesion, oil resistance, salt resistance, and resistance to chemical gas corrosion. It is used as a general anti-corrosion paint for steel structure pipelines. It can be cured at room temperature, and the substrate treatment is relatively simple, only requiring the removal of surface dirt, oil, and transported rust before coating.
Ingredients and Properties:
Epoxy anti-rust and anti-corrosion paint is mainly composed of epoxy resin, anti-rust pigments, additives, organic solvents, etc. Epoxy resin is the main film-forming substance of the paint, with excellent adhesion, abrasion resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. Anti-rust pigments and additives are responsible for providing anti-rust and anti-corrosion functions, effectively resisting the erosion of moisture, oxygen, and corrosive substances. Organic solvents are used to adjust the paint's application performance and drying speed.

V. Construction Instructions:
Surface Treatment: Ensure that the substrate surface is dry, clean, and free of oil, rust, and other debris before construction. Achieve different rust removal standards according to the use environment.
Paint Mixing: Mix the main paint and curing agent evenly according to the specified ratio, ensuring no sediments or lumps exist. Adjust the viscosity by diluting the paint with a special thinner to the working viscosity.
Coating Application: Methods such as brushing, rolling, or spraying can be used to ensure the coating is uniform and without omissions.
Drying and Curing: The next coat must be applied after the previous coat is dry or cured. The number of coats and the thickness of the coating should be determined according to the construction design requirements, and the substrate should be completely covered. The total amount of each coat should be 0.15~0.25kg/㎡. Number of coats: The bottom layer is generally coated 1~2 times, and the thickness of each coat must reach more than 80-100μm.
Design Requirements: When the coating surface is required to be smooth, the final coating should be smoothed to ensure a uniform and flat outer surface.
VI. Precautions:
Mix the paint and curing agent according to the required ratio before use, mix only the amount needed, stir well before use, and use it up within 4 hours;
The product should be stored in a cool and ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight, and isolated from fire and heat sources;
Keep the construction process dry and clean, and strictly prohibit contact with water, acids, alcohols, alkalis, etc. The curing agent packaging container must be tightly closed after mixing the paint to avoid gelling.
Operators should wear safety masks and gloves to avoid contact with skin or eyes. If contact occurs, rinse with water. If discomfort persists, seek medical help. Dispose of construction waste in accordance with environmental protection requirements and do not discard it randomly.
