VI. Construction process and steps:
Preparation before construction:
Base treatment: Ensure the base is dry, clean, free of oil, rust, dust, etc. If necessary, perform grinding, rust removal, cleaning, and other treatments.
Paint preparation: Mix the main agent and curing agent of polyurethane anti-corrosion topcoat evenly according to the ratio, and stir until there are no particles or bubbles.
Construction environment: Ensure that the construction environment temperature and humidity meet the requirements, and avoid construction in severe weather such as rain, snow, and strong winds.
Construction methods and techniques
Construction method: Spraying, brushing, roller coating, and other methods can be used for construction. Choose the appropriate construction method according to the actual situation.
Number of construction layers: It is generally recommended to apply 2-3 layers, and each layer should be fully dried to ensure the adhesion between the layers.
Construction thickness: The thickness of each coating layer should be controlled within the specified range to avoid excessive thickness or thinness affecting the anti-corrosion effect.
Precautions: During the construction process, avoid defects such as sagging, blistering, and orange peel on the coating, and ensure that the coating surface is smooth and flat.
Quality control and inspection standards:
Quality inspection should be carried out after each process is completed to ensure that it meets the design requirements and relevant standards.
The coating should be uniform, without omissions, bubbles, or sagging.
After the coating is dry, perform performance tests such as adhesion, impact resistance, and salt spray resistance to ensure that it meets the design requirements.
Safety production management and preventive measures:
Obvious safety warning signs should be set up at the construction site, and necessary safety measures should be taken.
Operators should wear protective equipment, such as protective glasses, gloves, and masks.
The paint should be stored in a well-ventilated and dry place, away from fire and heat sources.
Avoid paint splashing into eyes or skin during construction. If it accidentally occurs, rinse with clean water in time.
Coating maintenance and update methods
Regularly check the coating condition. If damage or aging is found, repair or recoat it in time.
When repairing the coating, choose the same paint as the original coating to ensure that the repaired coating is consistent with the original coating.
For parts that are subject to long-term corrosion, consider using more corrosion-resistant paint for renewal coating.
VII. Precautions:
Before use, mix the paint and curing agent according to the required ratio, mix as much as you use, stir well and use it up within 8 hours;
The product should be stored in a cool and ventilated place, avoid direct sunlight, and isolate it from fire and heat sources;
Keep the construction process dry and clean, and strictly prohibit contact with water, acid, alcohol, alkali, etc.; the curing agent packaging barrel must be tightly closed after mixing the paint to avoid gelling;
Operators should wear safety protective masks and gloves to avoid contact with skin or eyes. If contact occurs accidentally, rinse with clean water.
